Mrs. Lucie St-Louis

Ms. Lucie St-Louis started the firm Fiset Légal with Me Sébastien Fiset in 2009. She has been a legal secretary for more than fifteen (15) years and a paralegal for more than ten (10) years.

Ms. St-Louis has also had solid experience as an accounting clerk for several years, having worked for the accounting department of a law firm between 1999 and 2005, and then having overseen the accounting department of our firm during its first years.

During these years, Ms. St-Louis specialized in civil litigation, more particularly in real estate law, co-ownership law, corporate law and insurance and construction law.

She assists the lawyers of our firm in litigation before the Rental Board, the Court of Quebec, the Superior Court, as well as the Court of Appeal. She has experience in the management of mediation files as well as private and public arbitration files, notably for mandates entrusted to Mtre Sébastien Fiset under the Regulation respecting the guarantee plan for new residential buildings and by the Court of Québec.

Ms. St-Louis has extensive writing skills. She routinely drafts notices of legal hypothec, prior notices of exercise of hypothecary right, resolutions of modifications and amendments to declarations of co-ownership for syndicates of co-owners, as well as draft deeds of amendments to undivided co-ownership agreements. She participates in the drafting of settlement documents, transactions, commercial leases, as well as in the elaboration of each of the procedures of a judicial process.

Given her experience, she collaborates closely in the management and training of our firm’s paralegal staff.
