Defamation in co-ownership

The author examines the treatment of defamation in the context of co-ownership by the courts by analyzing ten judgments rendered between 2002 and 2014. This analysis aims to illustrate the challenge of life in co-ownership. in terms of reputational damage, particularly looking at the sometimes fine line between normal business conduct of the co-ownership, sometimes resulting in the utterance of words which have the effect of arousing negative feelings towards an individual, and the misuttering of words. The author underlines the possible parallel with the municipal debate.
